Fake job posts are one of the biggest threats facing freshers in India today. Random Google Forms circulated as “hiring forms,” fake offer letters from Gmail addresses, and “pay-to-apply” scams cost students money, time, and hope.
That’s exactly why CampusToDrive exists. This page explains — transparently — how we find, verify, and publish every job update on this website.
Our Verification Team
Job updates on CampusToDrive are checked by a dedicated team of 5 people who review listings daily. No job goes live on this website without passing our verification process. We do not use automated scraping from third-party job boards, and we do not republish forwarded WhatsApp messages.
How We Verify Every Job — Step by Step
Step 1: Source only from official channels. We find and confirm every opening on the company’s official career page or official application portal. If a job cannot be traced back to an official company source, we do not publish it. Period.
Step 2: Check that the application link is live. Before publishing, we open the application link ourselves and confirm it is active and pointing to the company’s own domain or its official hiring portal.
Step 3: Verify the details. We cross-check the role, eligibility (batch/qualification), location, and last date against what the company has officially published. We do not fabricate, inflate, or guess any detail. If the company has not disclosed something (for example, CTC), we say “Not disclosed” instead of inventing a number.
Step 4: Community cross-check for suspicious posts. Our community of 1M+ students is our extra layer of defence. When students receive communication about a job, we help them verify it:
• Mail from an official company domain (e.g., @companyname.com) → genuine
• Mail from a personal address pretending to be a company (e.g., companyname.hr@gmail.com) → we flag it publicly as fraudulent and warn students to stay away
Step 5: Publish with an expiry date. Every job update includes the last date to apply wherever the company has announced one. When a listing expires, we mark it as Expired on the post so no student wastes time applying to a closed opening.
Red Flags We Have Caught (and You Should Watch For)
Over the years, our team has caught and refused to share many fake “job updates,” including:
• Random Google Forms or Microsoft Forms circulated as official hiring forms with no company source
• Recruiters demanding registration or processing fees (no genuine company charges candidates)
• Offer letters and interview calls sent from free email addresses (Gmail/Yahoo) instead of official company domains
If a post fails any of these checks, it never reaches our website or our community.
